Our client, a Top 50 City Law Firm are currently recruiting for an IT Team / Project Admnistrator to join their team on a fixed term contract basis, due to expansion within the firm. The role is within a Legal IT environment working within the IT Team. This is a varied role where multi-tasking and a variety of skills are required and direct liaison with the Project Heads and other IT Managers and Team leads will be an essential requirement. Main duties will include:
* Dealing with email and telephone enquiries
* Arranging meetings and preparation of Agendas
* Attending meetings, taking and distributing minutes, maintaining action lists
* Effectively managing the National IT Service Manager’s diary, ensuring business commitments are met
* Organising travel arrangements and accommodation for business trips for the department.
* Creating, maintaining and updating spreadsheet
* Preparation of PowerPoint presentations
* Setting up standard precedents and templates in Word to an agreed standard
* Filing and general administration
* Assisting IT Project team members with administration tasks and day-to-day organisational requirements
* Liaison with other staff in the wider IT department including Training and Support Teams, as appropriate
The successful candidate must have previous as a secretary / administrator, gained within a law firm or corporate environment dealing with senior staff, clients and stakeholders. You must be fully conversant with MS Word, Outlook 2007, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel as well as have excellent communication and written skills as you will be liaising with Partners and Senior Management on a daily basis.
