This mid-sized international law firm is a leader in its field in a number of niche sectors. In the last few years the partnership has really bought into the value that marketing and business development can bring and the marketing function has actively expanded.
In this Business Development Manager role you will act as second in command to the Business Development Director and work across the firm's London and international offices to plan and deliver the firm's client development strategy, ensure best practice on client satisfaction and pitching and developing initiatives for targeting prospect clients. You will also manage a senior business development executive. This is a good opportunity for a business development manager with client facing experience to get client facing exposure through meeting with new and existing clients as well as taking part in pitches when required.
This is a really exciting opportunity for a business development manager with client facing key account management experience to take on a bigger role with a wider remit. You must have client facing experience and have the ability to influence and persuade senior level partners. A commercial approach and an understanding of how to deal with the different working cultures of overseas offices is essential for this role.
