This leading law firm specialises in niche Insurance areas. With an excellent reputation and well penetrated market they capitalise on their expertise and tradition whilst also having the ambition to envisage growth in the coming years.
This is an entirely new role the first of its kind for the firm created to streamline and improve the bidding process. A large part of the role will be education and training, ensuring fee-earners buy into you and to a specific bidding process you must be forthright and confident enough to talk directly to fee-earners, seizing their time in person where necessary. You will host kick off meetings to decide on bid/no bid and draft initial documents as well as improving the content of their capability statements and deals database. You will also look at ways to increase the quality of the documents as often they are for existing clients
There isn't a high volume of bids so this would suit a candidate well versed in bids process and looking for a role that isn't purely about churn. Ideally you will have experience within a law firm or professional services firm but you may not have been a bid specialist in your previous role as long as the business development you have done leads you enjoy tenders.
