A fantastic opportunity has arisen at a Law Firm in the City as a generalist HR Officer. You must have at least 3 years experience as a HR Officer and be able to hit the ground running, and have strong interpersonal and communication skills.

You will be the main point of contact, for an allocated practice area and duties will include:

• To provide Human Resources related advice and assistance to an assigned group within the client e.g. named Practice Group; named office; named function and/or department
• To act as the primary interface between Human Resources and the named group, managing the HR relationship with the named client/s to ensure service delivery of operational HR and learning & development issues and to implement HR and Learning and Development policy and strategic initiatives as required.
• To work with other HR and Learning & Development colleagues to ensure consistency of service across the client
• To ensure the ongoing improvement of HR services including compliance with new legislation and best practice and, where appropriate, to contribute to the development of policy, planning and direction for the client.

Previous experience of working in a Law Firm is essential. You must be flexible, professional and proactive, as well as able to work on your own.
