An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented paralegal or legal executive to join our client’s busy practice located in the Hitchin area. The successful applicant will undertake an array of duties within the firm’s will, trusts and lasting power of attorney department. This role is offered on either a permanent or locum, full-time basis.
• Drafting/taking instructions for wills and lasting power of attorney applications
• Amending client wills
• Organising the signing of wills
• Ensuring the correct storage of wills
• Undertaking legal research
• Binding and posting legal documents
• Liaising with clients, associates and other professionals
• Paralegals and legal executives with a minimum of one years’ experience
• Solid experience in will-work is required
• With excellent communication skills, you will excel in client care
• Overall, you will be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail
• A knowledge of probate practice would be desirable
