Assisting the fee earner with administrative duties related to fulfilling individual clients’ conveyancing requirements, this is a fantastic opportunity for a legal secretary to join a well-established team in Chippenham. The firm is renowned for its conveyancing department and has been awarded the Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) accreditation. This role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis.
• Administrative duties related to sales, purchases and re-mortgages of residential property
• Opening and closing files
• Copy and audio typing
• Liaising with clients and other professionals
• Diary management
• Use of case management systems
• Typing correspondence and legal documentation
• Legal secretary with a minimum of one years’ experience in residential conveyancing
• Ability to productively liaise with clients is essential
• Excellent document presentation and layout skills
• Fast and accurate copy and audio typing skills
• IT proficiency including Microsoft Office applications
