Joining our client’s exceptional firm in London, the successful candidate will provide support with managing the practice, ensuring compliance and assessing potential risk. The position is offered on a full-time, permanent basis.
• Acting as a quality manager for the firm
• Maintaining practice manuals and policies
• Proactively keeping abreast of changes in the regulatory regime
• File audits coordination
• Maintaining regulatory breach registers
• Risk assessments
• Ensuring risk management policy and risk register are current and robust
• Producing annual reports
• Liaising with senior management
• Preparing agendas and minutes for the standards committee
• Providing training
• Ensuring security and confidentiality of data
• Supervision of staff
• Office managers with at least 4 years’ experience
• Previous experience in risk and compliance matters is essential
• IT proficiency
• Excellent communication skills
• Great attention to detail
• Highly organised and able to work on own initiative
Our client is a leading, niche firm providing to national and international clients bespoke support with legal, tax and HR, communications consulting and corporate matters. Delivering effective and tailored support to small businesses and multi-national groups, they pride themselves to be staffed by a team of legal professionals who are experts in their chosen fields. Due to their continuous growth, they are now looking to employ a Risk and Compliance Officer / Office Manager for their office located in Central London.
• The possible salary in the second year of employment may reach £80,000 p.a. + bonus
