Lexcel accredited firm in North London seeks a Criminal Law Costs Draftsperson on a full-time, permanent basis.
Joining our client’s multi-accredited practice situated in Tottenham, the successful draftsperson will handle a broad range of criminal law costs matters, whilst billing on behalf of the practice and maximising costs claimable.
• Preparing bills
• Schedules of costs
• Summary assessments
• Preparing points of dispute and replies
• Applications for interim costs certificates
• Hearing bundles
• Cost draftspersons and Legal Aid billers with a minimum of one years’ experience
• Experience within criminal law is desired, however is not essential for this role
• Strong numeracy and IT skills are essential
• Excel in communication both verbally and written
• Be a team player with the ability to work individually under own initiative
