Bills, Bills, Bills…
It's still a great time for you, if you work within Billing/Revenue Control in a law firm. The market has been busy over a prolonged period, which shows no signs of slowing up. If you are considering something new moving into 2020, this could be for you.
This opportunity really does offer you the best of both worlds - you'll have the security and resources of a profitable global firm as your employer, but working in their London office you'll also part of a close-knit, smaller finance team, so will have great scope to make an impact and to get to know everyone.
You will be responsible for the 'cradle to grave' revenue cycle for specific practice areas. The variety in this role is what makes this such an attractive proposition, along with the opportunity to build relationships with the Senior Partners and external clients.
In this role, you will work closely with the European Billing Supervisor, and will have the opportunity to provide cover for them during absence, and to be a mentor to the Billing Assistant - a great opportunity for you to step up into a position of greater seniority within the team.
This would be a great move for you, if you are currently in a Billing/ Revenue Control team who would like more responsibility and seniority in your next role. In terms of skills required; a strong technical knowledge of billing (including VAT regulations), strong communication skills and good systems knowledge will all stand you in good stead for this one.
