At Burges Salmon, we know that our people are our greatest asset. We are currently recruiting for a Resourcing Specialist to join the team who are responsible for attracting exceptional talent to all areas of the firm.

The team has evolved into a resourcing function, and whilst recruitment is still a big part of what we do, the resourcing aspects of the role are just as important. We work closely with the wider People team to identify rising stars and assist with succession planning, so that whenever an opportunity arises we look first to our existing staff.

Working collaboratively is key to our success so as well as being the main point of contact for business professional recruitment you will also be involved in our legal, trainee solicitor and apprenticeship recruitment efforts. You can certainly expect a wide ranging task list and rest assured no two days are the same!

From a recruiter perspective, you will be involved throughout the lifecycle of a vacancy. We tailor each individual recruitment process so you will be a trusted advisor to a wide range of hiring managers. You will provide expert guidance, innovative suggestions and commercial insight from the creation of the advert through to offer and onboarding and every stage in between.

You will be an experienced interviewer, creative in your approach to employer brand and attraction and knowledgeable in a wide range of assessments. You can expect to work autonomously but safe in the knowledge that you have an experienced and supportive team around you.

Our six core values - Ambition, Collaboration, Commitment, Fairness, Quality and Respect - are at the heart of everything we do and help to shape our unique culture. As well as high quality work and exciting development opportunities, we offer our people a professional, friendly and sociable working environment with a real sense of community.

We are proud to have been awarded 'Happiest Work Place' at the National Happiness Awards in 2017, and in 2018 we were delighted to have been awarded 'Law Firm of the Year' for the third year running by RollonFriday.
