We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Service Desk Technician to join our high performing IT team. Working from our city centre Bristol office, you will be joining Burges Salmon at an exciting time as we continue to invest in new technology to genuinely differentiate ourselves from other law firms.

As our IT Service Desk Technician you will be joining a team who are key in supporting the firm and keeps the business moving forward. You will be mainly dealing with 2nd line support, though from time to time you will be picking up the "Help! I forgot my password" calls - �. you will soon learn the regular offenders.

Key to success in this role will involve proactively looking into problems, not only to sort out "work arounds" and - quick fixes" but looking deeper into the problem, investigate and suggest solutions.

Mobile working has become a major focus for us, the majority of our people have iPhones and Surface Books. We see this as an incredibly positive business change but we do anticipate an increased need for support and guidance as people adapt to a new way of working. The firm is committed to making use of new technology and alongside our Learning Technology team you will play a crucial part by robustly testing and putting any potential new tech through its paces.

In this role you will be surrounded by like-minded IT professionals who are enthusiastic and committed to delivering an exceptional IT service. There is no doubt that our lawyers are leaders in their fields but they are not always IT savvy.
