The Role

The Business Development Director has a key strategic advisory role in the senior management team of the firm. This is a very exciting opportunity to influence the firm’s growth and development and take it to market in a focused and innovative way.

Leading a team of 19 business development and marketing professionals, the primary objectives of the role are to:

  • lead on the Clients and Markets strategy
  • drive the firm's B2B growth through its two routes to market – sector and geography
  • lead and develop a technically excellent Client Development team to deliver client-focused projects
  • run the firm's bid process
  • deliver a brand refresh project
  • lead on digital channel strategy
  • structure and monitor client listening
  • embed account management

The Person

The role requires an appetite to drive change and bring people together with strong leadership and effective communication.

Suitable candidates will have extensive business development and client relationship experience gained within the professional services sector, with a proven track record of delivering a strategy and tactical initiatives that add value.
