Service Desk Analyst/ Professional Services

Professional Services firm. Up to £35k + benefits

Service Desk Analyst required by City based law firm.They take pride in building close partnerships externally, and offering their own teams exciting, challenging and rewarding career paths.

They are now looking for an exceptional IT Service Desk Analyst with experience working within a corporate environment (Accounting, Finance, or Legal preferably) to join their growing IT team.

The role

As part of the support team, you will provide 1st and 2nd line IT Support to all users across the firm, including to Partners and VIPs. Your responsibilities will include;

* Troubleshooting and resolving incidents with Windows, MS Office, Active Directory, bespoke Applications, mobile devices and more.
The IT Support team remain involved in all support calls to ensure to transfer of knowledge and improve future first-time-fix rates.
* Recording incidents in the service management tool, updating knowledge base article and information
* Installing and Configuring Laptops, Desktops, and handling any user requirements i.e.Remote Access, Printers
* Supporting Mobile Devices, using mobile device management software (MDM) and configuring handheld devices
* Meeting room and AV support
* Visiting users to provide hands-on at-desk support as necessary.

And you

You'll be passionate about providing high quality client support - you'll enjoy helping people and resolving their questions / support needs. You will ideally have experience providing 1 st / 2 nd line support in a professional services environment (Accounting / Law / Finance).
You'll have excellent client service and communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and set expectations.

Essential experience

* Good knowledge of Windows 10
* Good Knowledge of MS Office/Outlook 2013/2016
* Experience working with mobile devices and associated technology (MDM and handsets)

Desirable experience

* Accountancy Applications (e.g. Pertax, Alphatax, Caseware etc)
* Skype for Business
* Apple Device Support including iPhones and iPads
* IT conferencing
* Knowledge of MS SQL
* TCPIP / Connectivity Troubleshooting
