New Business Development & Marketing Director role in niche international law firm which is rapidly expanding. Excellent opportunity to drive change and business growth.

 

This top 20 international law firm is at the cutting edge in a number of niche areas including shipping, insurance, energy and international trade.  In recent years marketing and business development has been transformed in recent years into a strategic function and is about to enter the next phase of growth with the appointment of a new Business Development & Marketing Director.

 

In this new Director level appointment you will be responsible for developing and implementing an innovative and global marketing and business development strategy.  You will develop a new brand, work with partners to drive behavioural change towards targeting new business and developing growth from existing client. You will develop go-to-market channels, manage the firm’s PR agency and develop an internal communications capability.  You will manage and grow a marketing and business development function ensuring that they are adding value to partners through encouraging cross-selling and collaboration across the globe.

 

You will have significant experience of leading a marketing and business development function within the legal sector. You will have international experience, ideally with experience of working with US, Middle East or Asia-Pacific regions.  You will be innovative, a change agent and have the gravitas to influence partners and take them on an exciting journey.  International travel will be a key requirement of this role.
