We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced internal recruitment specialist to join our busy HR team in a period of growth. You will be fully responsible for the outcomes of the recruitment process and will provide a full 360 recruitment service which will include ownership of all elements of the process including, building and maintaining internal relationships with hiring managers, timeliness of hiring, quality of delivered candidates and reasonable costs of the hiring process. 

Duties

  • Manage and plan for all current and future resourcing requirements
  • Liaise with HODS, Partners and Line Managers to understand recruitment needs and to draw up a Job description based upon these needs
  • Provide guidance and advice when required to recruiting managers and candidates
  • Advise and decide on the most appropriate recruitment solution for positions taking into account budgeted Recruitment spend, agency and advertising costs
  • Focus on direct hires for all business support roles & Junior FE roles with a view to minimising recruitment agency requirements and minimising costs
  • Manage the recruitment process from start to finish, ensuring job briefs are in line with the business / functional needs, individuals are recruited within the timeframes specified
  • Field applications, interview, liaise with advertising agencies, headhunt as required
  • Develop, and initiate where appropriate, relationships with partners
  • Manage recruitment from interview to offer stage
  • Manage recruitment campaigns using Job boards,  social media and agencies
  • Manage the Applicant Tracking System for generic recruitment and Graduate recruitment
  • Negotiate reasonable rates and terms of businesses with Agencies and advertising resources
  • Represent the business at recruitment events and careers fairs
  • Ensure all recruitment administration is undertaken in a timely and professional manner
  • Review recruitment processes and recommend improvements
  • Ensure all recruitment activity is in adherence to the Recruitment and Selection Policy and compliant with equality & Diversity policies and legislation
  • Manage interviews - book rooms, enter in diaries, provide cv's
  • Negotiating pay and salary rates and finalising arrangements between client and candidates
  • Ensure all pay rates, offers and contract terms are authorised by hiring managers
  • Manage all recruitment spend and budget 
  • Screening and selection process
  • Manage the trainee recruitment process including screening applicants, arranging and carrying out initial telephone interviews, arranging and attending assessment days, feedback following assessment day and relaying offers
