Our client is an award-winning international law firm with offices in Europe, US and Asia. The firm has been operating for over 100 years and the client base is a mixture of corporate clients and high net worth individuals and families. 


They are now recruiting for a confident Legal Cashier to join them on a 6 month fixed term contract. 


Responsibilities


Analysing Client account ledgers, fees and costs


Liaising with Fee earners to clear all applicable balances


Maintaining master spreadsheet showing all Client balances 


Reporting balances to COFA


Contributing to monthly COFA bulletin


Posting of invoices and processing receipts 


Bank reconciliations 


Dealing with out of date Office cheques


Banking and processing of cheques into Office/ Client Accounts 


Dealing with incoming and outgoing transfers 


Dealing with petty cash, expenses and foreign drafts 


Candidate Profile


Experience in both office and client accounts, as well as multi-currency cashiering


Solid working knowledge of SAR


Good knowledge of Excel


Experience using Elite 


Organised and accurate, with the ability to deal with a high volume of work autonomously
