Balance Recruitment are exclusively supporting this fast growing, highly entrepreneurial international law firm with the hire of an experienced Credit Controller to join the firm on a permanent basis, being the sole point of contact for the firm’s collections for London, as well as one of the firm’s international offices.
The firm are going through a sustained period of growth and are restructuring their collections process globally and can therefore offer a stimulating working environment with a real chance to make an impact. The role is based in their smaller City of London office, but with interaction with colleagues from right across their international network of offices.
This is a newly created role for the firm, which will give the successful incumbent the opportunity to work autonomously and be an integral part of the firm’s revenue cycle, having the scope to implement new policies and procedures with regards to the collection of outstanding debt. You will work closely with the Head of Credit Control & Debt Recovery and have daily interaction with Partners/Associates, reporting on aged debt and talking through the best practise for the collection process. You will be client facing, maintaining a continuous open dialogue with high profile organisations, and will also have responsibility for monthly cash collection forecasts for the London office.
The firm are looking for someone with a strong background in Credit Control, preferably from within a large law firm or large professional services environment. They are seeking a strong communicator, with a proactive attitude who is able to work autonomously in terms of managing their own workloads.
The successful candidate may be required to travel to international offices from time to time and may also have to be available to liaise with international offices during non-UK working hours, so please only apply if this is something you can accommodate.
