A global legal firm is looking for an Online Coordinator. Reporting to the Online Manager, the Online Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the development and delivery of the online roadmap and the day to day support of all online channels and products including the public website and the Online Services Portal.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining the public website, including organising a schedule of content refresh, archiving and mailbox management and undertaking analysis of usage statistics to identify key trends and activities. You will also maintain the Firm's other online services, including support of the online services portal, coordination of micro site requests and other ad-hoc tasks as required and reviewing the public website on an ongoing basis and consultation and discussion with the business to understand what would be important in relation to SEO so that the relevant and most appropriate keywords can be sourced and integrated into the website content.
You will build a deeper understanding of industry developments and best practice in online technologies through attending such events and being able to develop networks with peers in the pursuit of these objectives; awareness and appreciation of online trends, accessibility standards and search engine technologies, including optimisation; assisting in the review and assessment of such technologies, including e-marketing and barriers to their successful delivery; assisting the Online Manager in analysing, communicating and disseminating insights and learnings, and where appropriate, put forward recommendations.
You will also work with other teams, providing support to various communications groups within the Firm.
The successful candidate should have experience in a similar role, preferably with some element of professional services industry experience and a good working knowledge of web based technologies with experience in at least one of the industry standard content management systems. You will have the skill of working in a consensus based partnership culture with sound experience of online and e-marketing best practice & principles, with exposure to client relationship management best practice & principles and knowledge of web analytics would be desirable (particularly Google) and a basic knowledge of HTML is essential.
