This is an excellent internal communications role based in the head office of one of the largest and most influential international law firms. You will work with the Senior Internal Communications Manager and Global Head of Communications to provide internal communications support to the global business, helping to facilitate the flow of relevant, timely information across the firm through its various internal channels.
The Internal Communications Executive will be responsible for developing content for the firm’s global intranet news service with responsibility for writing, editing and researching key stories, uploading news content and helping to develop video content as required for the firm’s webcasting platform. It is essential that you foster strong working relationships with communications colleagues in other offices across the network, to help surface news and developments that are relevant to a global audience, and to enable effective co-ordination of global announcement. Working with the Internal Communications Manager you will advise the legal practice groups, sector groups and support functions, on the planning and delivery of effective internal comms in their respective areas, driving projects autonomously, where necessary, for numerous internal clients. You will also have the opportunity to assist in creating key communications for the firm’s senior leaders, including speeches and occasional presentations.
With a good academic background, you will need communications experience gained client side in a legal or professional services firm. The Internal Communications Executive will need outstanding communication skills, both written and oral, as you will be dealing with the highest levels in the firm.
