A leading regional legal firm is looking to appoint a Senior Marketing Executive to support and help drive forward the firm’s marketing objectives, ensuring all marketing activities and external communications are of the highest quality and adequately reflect the firm’s brand and core values to all audiences across multiple channels and platforms. You’ll play a key part in providing input into the preparation, implementation and maintenance of marketing strategies to serve the firm’s business plan, giving practical marketing assistance to all offices and provide support across the firm to contribute to the overall objectives of the firm.
Your main tasks will include working with the team, management and external agencies to develop, articulate and communicate the firm’s brand, core values, and key messages to internal and external audiences and to be a brand ambassador and to act as a guardian of the firm’s brand and core values. You’ll work with the marketing team, management and external agencies to create content that adds value, supports the brand and core values, drives traffic to our website and helps generate new business enquiries, leading all profile raising campaigns and develop supporting activities, collateral and strategies. You will identify PR opportunities in relevant target online and offline publications and ensure all online and offline advertising is targeted to an appropriate audience. You will manage all legal directory and award submissions and support and help drive internal communications.
You will help plan, develop and execute all aspects of the firm’s social media strategy across agreed platforms (including but not limited to LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and You Tube), encourage and lead social media best practice across the firm, ensure content on the firm’s website is kept fresh, up to date, and on brand and that SEO value is high and identify new trends in digital marketing. In addition, you’ll undertake routine operational tasks to support the smooth running of the marketing function and to help deliver the overall marketing and business development objectives, ensuring budgets are carefully managed, tracking success of all campaigns and analyse ROI whilst helping drive forward projects on client service and experience.
You will have 3-5 years experience working within a professional services environment, and a Marketing qualification would be an advantage as would a Driving Licence. Experience/knowledge of working with a marketing database is essential, as is a sound knowledge of the range of marketing and communications techniques and tools available, integrating words and visual images to produce coherent messages. You will have sound editing, copywriting and proofreading skills, experience of Brand Management and PR. Knowledge of In-Design and campaign evaluation techniques would also be an advantage. You’ll have good planning and project management skills, have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and communicate and influence members of staff of all levels of seniority. You’ll be commercially astute and numerate with excellent communication and people skills, be innovative and creative, with excellent attention to detail, excellent IT skills and strong budget management skills.
