Working for a leading legal firm, this role is responsible for the day to day management of the firm’s CRM database (InterAction), including effective development, maintenance and training.
The role combines an understanding of best BD practice, applied to using the CRM system to effectively capture, interpret and use the recorded relationships and activities to the firm’s best advantage. The CRM Executive will work with the wider team (Business Development, Marketing Communications & Events and Information Systems (CRM)), partners, fee earners and secretaries as users and is responsible for training users in effective usage of the system. The role also requires understanding of the integrated eMarketing solution (Tikit eMarketing), or equivalent, and the importance of its use in managing and maintaining relationships with clients and contacts. Acting as system administrator, responsibilities will include active and archived folder management, security access and administration, managing data quality, including regular archiving sweeps of contacts no longer required, duplicate checking and merging, checking and resolving data change tickets, association clean up to ensure contacts are associated to the correct company. You will advise on data entry standards and processes, monitor new contacts created in CRM and approve or reject as necessary and work with BD to develop CRM into a position for use in BD initiatives, managing the interface between CRM and eMarketing. You will be an advocate for effective InterAction use and provide training and support throughout the firm and also participate in additional firm wide ad-hoc projects in conjunction with the Marketing/BD and IT teams.
You will have previous experience in either a marketing or CRM role within a professional services environment, and be looking to develop your career in a support function. You will deliver new initiatives effectively, have excellent task management,team working, presentation and communication skills. The ability to be self-motivated and highly organised is imperative. The data stewarding component requires an attention to detail and willingness to ensure the data
is as correct and up to date as possible. As the position will involve training other users throughout the firm, the candidate must be confident, self-assured and highly approachable in their manner and communication. You will have system and data management experience, including administrator experience of InterAction, demonstrable experience of working in a professional/financial services environment in a marketing, training or administrative role and have experience of working with and for partners and fee-earners.
