We are looking for a Communications Executive to join our Sales and Marketing team. This is a full-time, permanent role and will be based in our Bristol office.
You'll work within a dynamic, social and supportive team, where you can further develop your skills as part of our award winning organisation and culture. In time, you'll also be part of influencing our external and internal communications strategy.

What you'll do
Reporting to the PR manager, working on a regular basis with the internal communications manager, digital and social media lead, branding team and the head of brand and communications, you will be responsible various activities, including:
- Building effective relationships with national, regional and trade journalists
- Drafting press releases on our corporate deals, business transactions and legal case updates
- Drafting internal and external communications about our new joiners, key business updates and firm news
- Support with the management of regional Southwest PR
- Assisting the communications team in running strategic PR campaigns
- Helping to draft and distribute our international firm-wide internal newsletter
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who is friendly and outgoing to join our busy and talented team. You should be a confident and capable writer who enjoys learning about new topics and get a buzz out of seeing your work turn up in print or online media.
You'll be a team player and an important member of our central communications team. And we'll look to for ideas and input from day one. As you'd expect from a fast-paced environment, you'll need to be able to handle pressure, manage multiple demands and be comfortable working with people at all levels of the organisation.
To land the role, you should demonstrate that you're self-motivated, proactive and able to plan and manage PR/media and communications projects effectively from start to finish. Equally, you'll have a broad understanding of professional services businesses.
