This is an exciting time for an experienced HR professional to join a growing US law firm. Based in their London office, you will be joining a firm that has experienced unprecedented growth over the last two years. Reporting into the firm’s Director of Professional & Administrative Resources, you will be the first point of HR contact for all business services staff, including employee relations issues. Duties for the role will include:
* Facilitate all administrative staff recruitment, including interviewing candidates, negotiating with agencies and coordinating background screenings. You will also be providing assistance with fee-earner recruitment
* Management of performance matters to include grievances and disciplinary proceedings
* The coordination of the staff appraisal process for all administrative staff
* Support all administrative staff training initiatives
To apply for this role, previous professional services/partnership experience is essential, whilst law firm experience is highly advantageous. You must have strong generalist HR experience, including good exposure to ER issues and HR systems.
