A US law firm has an exciting new role for an Assistant Information Officer/Graduate Trainee.
This is a fantastic training opportunity for someone who would like to gain excellent experience of working in a law library prior to studying the Information Management/Library Management course. The role is varied and will include:
·answering basic enquiries from across the firm
·carrying out daily press searches
·fulfilling book and journal requests
·providing administrative support such as updating loose-leaf files and mantaining satellite libraries
·supporting and maintaining the library management system
·assisting with the maintenance of the team's Sharepoint sites
·assisting with ordering, cataloguing and recording new acquisitions
·liaising with vendors and publishers
You should have a first degree of any discipline, have excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for entering the Information industry.
