Working under direction from the existing FIS and Insurance M&BD Manager and leveraging the support of two M&BD Co-ordinators, this global firm is looking for a Marketing & BD Manager. This role is integral in helping to drive forward the Sector approach, with a primary focus on the Insurance sector and secondary focus on FIS, to ensure that the firm develop clients, raise their profile, deliver thought leadership and win new business
Your primary responsibility will be to support the operations of the global Insurance ISG. You will also be asked to run a selection of projects and campaigns which operate across both the Insurance and FIS ISGs. These responsibilities will include:
* M&BD Planning & Budgeting
* Client Development
* Pitching, targeting and new business generation
* Marketing Campaigns, Thought Leadership and Profile Raising
* Internal communication and knowledge sharing
* Team management responsibilities
* Wider M&BD projects
You will have strong previous experience of working in a marketing & business development role in a professional services law firm and previous experience of industry sector marketing, as well as an exposure to the Insurance and/or Financial Services sectors.You will have excellent interpersonal and (internal and external) client-facing skills and strong influencing and persuasion skills. You'll be pragmatic, robust, diplomatic and resourceful, with the ability to adapt quickly to different situations and personalities.You will possess strong written and verbal communication skills with an excellent eye for detail and have strong project management skills.
You will be able to think broadly and demonstrate a high level of initiative and be highly motivated and an enthusiastic self-starter with a can-do attitude who is commercial and strategic in outlook. You'll have previous line management experience with experience of InterAction, who is a team player, but able to act autonomously with minimal guidance.
