Technical/Desktop Support Team Leader - Law Firm, Worksite, MS Office

Commercial law firm seeking a Technical/Desktop Support Team Leader to join the IT department and lead 6 Technical Support Analysts (2nd Line). The Team Leader will be expected to provide leadership to the team including motivation, development, coaching and embedding improved ways of working. They will also focus on project work and operational guidance including training and best practice.

Other responsibilities include:

* Leading the Technical Support team and setting the example of how a professional 2nd line support team should operate.
* Working with the IT Services Manager to ensure all support issues are dealt with in a satisfactory way.
* Managing and contributing to projects to improve processes and systems.
* Ensuring all support tickets are assigned in a timely fashion and managed to resolution.
* Managing internal desk moves from an IT equipment perspective, including trainee moves.
* Providing support for the firm's Messaging and Document Management Systems.

Skills required:

* Service focused attitude and professional manner, appropriate for a commercial law firm
* Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team with a clear, concise and politely assertive manner
* Windows operating systems
* Desktop management solutions (AD, GPO, RES software, OCT)
* Legal applications (iManage Worksite, BigHand Digital Dictation etc.)
* MS Office
