A top international Law Firm is looking to recruit a Revenue Controller to join their prestigious London team on a 12 month fixed term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to progress their career within a leading Law Firm. The Revenue Controller role will be very varied and rewarding and you will be part of the well-established, busy, Finance Support Team.
As the Revenue Controller you will be the first point of contact for all members in the firm and be solely responsible for establishing relationships to gain knowledge about clients, following up on billing matters, ensuring that clients are billed promptly and securing swift payment of those invoices. You will also be required to:
Deal with a large portfolio of clients and liaise with them on a daily basis.
Support a team of partners and be responsible for their billing and credit control requirements.
Attend and report on monthly work-in-progress meetings.
Assist the line managers with preparing various financial reports.
Deal with client queries.
Prepare debt reporting statements and liaise with cashier teams.
To be successful in this role you will need to have previous experience working with a revenue team within professional services, and have experience attending meetings with partners to discuss WIP and aged debt. Good knowledge of Excel is needed including setting up spreadsheets and you will be able to liaise with a range of different people at all levels. You will be an excellent communicator who is driven, determined and can demonstrate the use of initiative when problem solving.
Additionally, you will have strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise your work with high attention to detail and be comfortable working under pressure.
