Head of Programmes, Innovation & Transformation - Law firm

We are seeking a Head of Programmes for a new role within a global Law to set up and develop a business-wide PMO and lead an ambitious programme across the entire firm globally.

Key responsibilities:

* Work with the COO, members of the Executive and other key business services managers to help formulate and drive the innovation strategy and continuous improvement of service delivery over the next few years
* Build a PMO and its methods & processes to suit the environment
* Coach & mentor staff and help them change their working practices and be able to deliver their own, smaller projects using the new methodology
* Help shape the structure of the Department by defining new roles as the function matures
* Identify and build relationships with the right people within the firm and its business services functions in order to understand their needs and deliver a variety of projects.
* As Programme Manager, plan and lead a schedule of multiple technology & business change projects and help drive the transformation of IT and the business
* Develop the PMO into a firm-wide project office supporting all business projects, not just IT

The successful candidate will have experience setting up a global PMO that transends different services i.e. Technology, Legal practice, etc. within a professional services environment.

The role is a key member of the strategy team and will suit an ambitious, engaging individual seeking a leadership role in a truly global business.
