This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated and experienced Compliance Officer to join our client’s flourishing practice in the Beaconsfield area. Working closely with the firms’ management team, the successful Compliance Officer will manage a varied and challenging workload of compliance and risk assessment matters including: quality mark assessments including Lexcel; ensuring legal aid and criminal contract compliance; monitoring regulatory change; developing best practice and; advising on training and development. The ideal Compliance Officer will be experienced in Lexcel and SRA audit procedures with meticulous attention to detail and first class organisational skills.

To be considered for this position you must:
Be a Legal Compliance Officer with at least 2 years’ solid experience in a similar role;
Have a good working knowledge of SRA and Law Society requirements to include SQMs;
Possess good knowledge of the legal aid and criminal frameworks;
Be highly organised and able to manage issues in multiple locations;
Be a team player with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, across all levels;
Be confident, professional and driven.
