Our client is an international law firm, and they are looking for an experienced HR professional to join their team in Sheffield on a 12 month maternity cover basis. Reporting into the Head of HR, you will be responsible for developing talent agendas in specific groups and designing and implementing commercially driven actions to support this. Key duties for the role will include:
* Providing assistance to specific client groups in delivering department strategy, and working alongside Practice Group Managers and Business Services Directors to achieve this
* Driving employee engagement through the delivery of an annual HR plan, ensuring best practice HR solutions
* Supporting client groups through the annual HR cycle including performance, salary and bonus reviews
* Responsibility for Employee Relations issues to include management of disciplinary and grievances, and coaching Partners and line managers in relation to difficult issues
To apply for this role, you must have extensive experience operating at an HR Manager/Business Partner level. Your experience will have been gained within a professional services – ideally law firm – environment.
