This is an international business-oriented role (rather than technology focused), reporting to their Global Head of Knowledge Management, and managing a function.

The firm’s knowledge systems are critical in enabling their professionals to best leverage the full breadth of the firm’s global capabilities in service to their clients. The firm is currently seeking a Global Head of Knowledge Systems Services who has:

·         a deep understanding of current and emerging technologies

·         a clear understanding of lawyer behaviours, law firm economics, and evolving client expectations

·         the ability to creatively identify and translate requirements into creative solutions that positively impact client service levels and lawyer efficiencies

·         the ability to professionally deliver projects and services to a high standard of quality.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in the areas of Knowledge Management and information technologies within a law firm or similar professional services environment.  They will have the ability to work collaboratively and in a collegiate manner across internal functional (and with external partners) - critical to the success of this role.

The role requires excellent leadership and management skills, and an ability to build productive relationships. From a change management perspective, the candidate must be able to actively promote the business benefits of both the Knowledge Management strategy, and the various technologies and platforms that support the firm’s strategy in order to maximise the relevancy and adoption of technologies across the stakeholder community.
