Professional Costs Draftsperson sought for successful Legal 500 Firm.

THE FIRM
Our client is a Legal 500 Firm with several other highly recognised accreditations', seeking a professional Costs Draftsperson to join their expanding specialist legal costs team.  A dynamic team of skilled lawyers who offer a responsive and personable approach.  The firm are continuously developing and serving within the local communities.  As part of a multi-location firm, this office is set in traditional buildings close to immediate amenities and public transport.

THE ROLE
The successful Costs Draftsperson will manage a varied workload, supporting a professional team with a wide range of responsibilities including preparation of bills for costs; costs budgets; responding to points of dispute; claimant and defendant costs files; opposing claimant bills; drafting costs budgets and negotiating with opponents in relation to costs and budgets.  The Costs Draftperson could have the opportunity to undertake advocacy at assessment hearings and costs management conferences.

THE CANDIDATE
You will have knowledge of law of costs to include case law and CPR.
You will have strong IT skills and well as excel and numerical data analysis.
You will have experience in legal research and case building.
You will be professional and able to organise your workload to meet deadlines.
You will be highly numerical with a keen eye for detail.
You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
