Business Development Manager role for a boutique London law firm.  A full mix BD & marketing role supporting the private client and SME/OMB arena; a market leading practice in this field.

You will work closely with the partners and the wider marketing team to develop and drive the marketing strategy across the private client and SME groups.  The focus for the SME/OMB clients is to ensure the firm are maximising relationships with CEOs, and cross selling effectively through deep client knowledge.  On the private client side you will not only work with clients, but also intermediaries to ensure reciprocity.  This role will entail creating business plans, executing the plans and measuring results of targeting initiatives and campaigns.  Working with the wider marketing team, you will coordinate activities such as events, marketing collateral, campaigns, client relationship tools, pitches, and social media to ensure the firm is constantly increasing traction with clients and new business targets.  You will coach partners and fee earners to manage prospects through the sales cycle, ensuring they have all the tools needed to convert revenue. 

 The ideal candidate will be passionate about engaging partners, and will clearly demonstrate experience of having led on successful business development initiatives (ideally in a law firm).  This role would suit someone who really relishes the opportunity to utilise market knowledge to get creative, and is able to take partners on a journey.  You will ideally already be operating at manager level; perhaps in a larger firm but wanting to transition to a smaller firm where you can have more influence.
