This International legal institution based near Chancery Lane have an exciting new opportunity to for an experienced Marketing &Business Development professional to play a significant part in the development of the organisation’s on-going business plan for the London and International legal sectors. The position reports directly into the managing Director in the London office. Responsibilities include;

 

·         Business Plans implementation - To provide guidance to Partners when formulating and developing the business development action plans on the basis of agreed strategies

·         Business Development – Coach fee earners, capability statements, key account management, support panel tracking

·         Pitch management – Lead on all sector group pitches and particular cross selling opportunities (UK and overseas offices), carry out client facing post matter and pitch debriefs

·         Targeting - Develop new business from existing and new clients within the client pipeline

·         Client Reviews/Feedback – Champion a client review programme, conducting interviews with clients

·         Events Management - Co-ordinate with events team on both client seminars and corporate hospitality for clients

·         Internal and external communications – Lead and contribute towards newsletters, BD reports e.g. ongoing deals, new wins/clients, pitches, website and social media maintenance.

·         Media exposure – Highlighting practice based deals, working with fee earners to identifying thought-leadership opportunities

·         Awards and Directory submissions and publications

 

The firm are looking for a professional and experienced individual who will possess the strong analytical skills required to drive the business forward from both an internal function as well as representing the organisation externally. The desired candidate will have gained first hand exposure of leading on business development strategies in a law firm or the wider legal sector.
