A Business Development Manager (German speaking) role for a global management consulting firm.  This top strategy consulting firm works with the leaders of some of the largest organisations around the world, and this is a great opportunity to be a key contributor to the firm’s business development efforts throughout the European region and beyond.

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for increasing the partners face time with clients.  This will involve working with the sector teams and individual partners to develop sales strategies and execute account plans via direct contact with targets from both new and existing clients.  Alongside these sales responsibilities, you will also work internally to put in place new processes to ensure the partners are sharing information across geographies and practices and maximising opportunities.  This business development role will be fully supported by marketing campaigns, events and content driven marketing materials. 

The successful candidate will have gained business development/client relationship management experience in a professional services firm, such as legal or accounting.  You must be able to demonstrate the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients from cold and must be comfortable with cold calling.  You have a track record in sales within long selling cycles, and be able to work within a team structure that requires a good deal of upward management.  Fluent German is an essential requirement of this role.
