This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to start their career in Marketing as part of a dynamic and growing team. The Marketing Assistant will play an integral role, supporting the wider team with the planning and execution of premium campaigns and events. You will also provide administrative support for the CRM and Account Planning activity, and the distribution of digital mailings and internal comms including; client mailings, the internal marketing newsletter and social media content and updates designed to increase the digital footprint.
Critical to the role will be impeccable attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure, as a team and on initiative. Key Tasks and Responsibilities include:

Events (30%)
Supporting the event invitation process, including assisting with the end-to-end invitation listwork process, tracking responses using the CRM system, helping with follow-up and confirmation calls/emails, assisting with venue (and other supplier) search and selection and help with all event logistics in the run up to, and on the day of events. Maintaining the events calendar and venue database, proactively researching and recommending premium venues, draft compelling invitation materials consistent with brand guidelines.

CRM and Account Planning support (30%)
Maintaining contact data accuracy on CRM through regular media and website checks and using various other relevant tools, assisting the team to record executive moves in CRM, supporting on special projects to improve data integrity. Acting as the ‘helpdesk’ contact for CRM enquiries providing CRM training, and profiling priority accounts and priority executives for the company’s various practices.

Internal comms and Mailings (10%) and Miscellaneous (30%)
Supporting the team in creating the monthly internal marketing newsletter and work with the team to create regular social media updates, and coordinate the distribution of monthly client mailings for Partners and Managers.

You should have impeccable attention to detail, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and an ability to communicate/interface with people of all levels and a desire to develop experience in events. You will have a real interest in learning who the key people are in UK business, an ability to learn new processes quickly, be a team player with a positive attitude who is flexible and able to prioritise tasks.

You'll be computer literate (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and preferably qualified to degree level with database experience within a corporate or professional environment.
