We are looking to recruit a HR Assistant to be based predominantly in our Rugby office, but with travel to our Banbury office twice a week.

 

About the Role

The purpose of this role is as follows:

  • To provide administrative support for the HR team at Brethertons including maintaining personnel files, recruitment files and issuing standard letters,

  • Conduct the administration of the recruitment and induction process, including arranging interviews,

  • Arrange internal and external training courses and maintain training records in line with business needs

  • Assist with the accuracy of the HR system including absence records, and liaise with payroll when required,

  • Supporting the HR team in delivering projects that support the firms HR strategy,

  • Responding to basic enquiries from employees about HR policies and procedures,

  • Providing reception/switchboard cover and other administrative support to the firm as and when required.

 

About you

You will ideally have some administrative experience within an office environment, and either hold or show willingness to work toward the CPP Certificate in Personnel Practice accreditation. Attention to detail is essential in this role.  You must demonstrate excellent communication and interpretation skills and be able to relate to people at all levels within the firm.  You must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications, and adhere to our corporate policies.  It is essential that you have a respect for the confidentiality of our internal employees, and external applicants.  You must have a knowledge of data protection and risk relating to other policies and processes e.g. payroll discrepancies.  You will be someone who takes an organised and methodical approach to your workload, and be able to work within a team.  It is essential that you are able to travel between our offices (mainly Rugby and Banbury).
