A leading international law firm is looking for a Marketing Account Advisor on a 12 month fixed term contract basis who will work in close collaboration with the partnership to manage and develop the firm’s client base, co-ordinate and manage client-focussed marketing and business development activities and ensure the dissemination of client information globally to drive partner discussion on potential business development opportunities.

Working alongside the relevant Marketing Account Manager, you will support client teams globally in the management of a number of the firm’s largest Bank client relationships. You will be responsible for providing proactive support in managing the retention of revenue and in developing relationships and business opportunities; ensuring that client teams understand the organisational structure, strategy and needs of the client; working with marketing colleagues and fee earners worldwide on the development and implementation of client and sector initiatives; and ensuring the delivery of market-leading value-added services to clients. The role holder will serve as a secondary point of contact for partners for all client related information. This will involve drafting and disseminating sector and client-specific information to relevant client teams, drafting sector and client briefing notes and client relationship summaries in support of country and client visits and tailored capability statements on the firm's expertise within a sector for client visits and maintaining client sites and wiki pages and client relationship presentation materials. The Marketing Account Advisor must also take ownership of specific elements of overall sector and client plans, producing annual review documentation as required, and support partner led BD efforts to cross-sell relationships, effect new business introductions and protect existing relationships. Offering support to colleagues in the production of client specific pitch documents, in the development of client fee proposal submissions and global panel submissions and in preparation for client relationship meetings will form an important part of this role.

A successful candidate will be a bright graduate with both proven business development or account management experience and an understanding of the banking sector gained in a law or professional services firm.
