The role

Purpose of the role: Overall responsibility for all management of and marketing delivery

through RPC's digital channels in support of the firm's brand and client development

strategies, with a particular focus on driving internal engagement.

Reports to: Emma Maksimovic, PR and Communications Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

Working closely with Partners and other lawyers, as well as relevant colleagues from Brand

Marketing & Sales (BMS), and Knowledge Information & Data, the focus of this role is to fully

exploit all external digital channels available to RPC to, position the firm to its target market(s), and

facilitate business development at all levels.

Responsible for the development and delivery of an integrated firmwide and multi-layered

digital and content marketing strategy linked to business needs

Act as "the voice of digital marketing" for BMS, and the firm at large, always considering the

digital angle/application to any brand, marketing or sales activity

Spearhead the application of digital to firmwide marketing campaigns

Engage the partnership for input into the continual development of the digital content and

functionality of the website, reacting positively to their concerns and addressing their needs

Support the Graduate Recruitment and wider People & Talent Development teams in the

use of digital to meet their specific requirements

Responsible for developing, managing, and implementing future phases of RPC's website


Delivery of firm communications through digital channels, both internal and external

Responsible for exploiting and developing the website in line with the changing technology


Provide analysis of traffic and user statistics on a quarterly basis, and react to that

information to improve digital performance

Regularly communicate to BMS and other teams the benefits of using digital to maximise

the impact of a pitch or event

Liaise with IT to resolve any security or technical glitches

Work with hosting company on any security or technical glitches

Exploit the full capability of Sitecore, our Content Management System

Responsible for website maintenance-content, structure, and underlying support

Responsible for managing and curating the firm's social media accounts, both on a day-today

basis and integrated within the wider strategy, and reporting on statistical performance

Responsible for managing and curating the firm's video content for external and internal

audiences and working with outsourced video capability to achieve this

Work with lawyers and others across the business to ensure all video, photo and text

content is current and up to date

Ensure your own personal training is up to date and in line with advances in technology

Advise and educate on social media and the digital experience

Management of a Digital Marketing Administrator

Core competencies:

A team player, who is good at building relationships with people at all levels

Familiar with Sitecore Content Management System, or something similar

Proficient in working with multimedia, including video and photo

Experience in reporting and analytics, including Google Analytics and CMS-based

analytics, and using the data to influence future digital strategy

Experience with maximising SEO

Familiar with personalisation
