The role – key purpose:

 

A full time position as an integral part of RPC's Brand, Marketing & Sales (BMS) team, this role will:

•           Support all members of the BMS team across all elements of the BMS mix, from events and communications to business development, sales (bids), and client services

•           Ensure the efficient running of day-to-day processes which drive BMS team activity to help deliver an efficient and responsive service to internal clients

 

Given the nature of the BMS function, there will be some out-of-hours work required.

 

 

Reports to: Head of Brand & Marketing Services, but with responsibility to support all members of the BMS team.  The role will be supervised by the Marketing & Events Executive on a day to day basis.

 

The role would suit an efficient and enthusiastic self-starter looking to forge a career in a professional services marketing team and gain exposure to the full breadth of activity that a firm uses to help grow its business.

 

 

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

A typical, but non-exhaustive, list of responsibilities includes:

 

•           Invoice processing, recording and budget tracking

•           Expense processing

•           Client meeting preparation

•           Edge client pages admin

•           Client audit admin

•           Diary and meeting management, including team meeting administration

•           BMS travel management

•           External supplier liaison

•           Running data reports on PR coverage

•           Loading and managing content for intranet news feed

•           Keeping BMS pages on intranet up to date

•           Administering our online database of standard-form marketing content

•           Administrative support for our awards/sponsorship activities

•           Internal new-joiner photo process

•           Internal video process

•           Promotional goods process

•           Overflow events administration where required

•           Back-up support for website administration

•           Keeping the team's Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery information up to date

 

Experience and qualifications:

•           Ideally degree educated or marketing qualification equivalent

•           Ideally with at least one year's experience in a professional services environment, but not essential

•           Could suit a recent graduate with requisite energy and enthusiasm to learn and forge a career in professional services marketing

•           Supremely organised

•           Excellent time and project management skills

•           Good at planning, prioritising and task management

•           Efficient and reliable

•           Proven ability to meet competing demands and deadlines

•           Familiarity with MS Office suite, particularly Outlook and Excel

The team

 

Our BMS team is predominantly based at the firm’s offices at Tower Bridge House, which occupies a prominent position adjacent to the Tower of London at the junction of East Smithfield and Tower Bridge Approach, bordering St Katharine Docks.

 

The department currently comprises a team of 18 professionals in the UK.
