We have a unique opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our IT team. This is a full-time, permanent role that will be based in our Bristol office.

What you'll do        

Reporting to the Head of IT Programme & Projects, the main purpose of the roles is to support the effective delivery of projects by producing strong business cases, including analysis of costs and benefits.

You will be the involved in the mapping of processes in order to produced effective workflow systems for our internal 'Flow' workflow tool and for other external systems where you will provide mapped details and liaise with their development teams.

The role will also support the on-going analysis of process improvements for the projects team. This will include process efficiency and redesign work as well as supporting the vendor selection process, including analysis and assessment of tenders.

What we're looking for

You will be an experienced Business Analyst, with a background ideally working in a law firm or professional services environment.

Also required:

·         Understanding of project methodologies, particularly PRINCE2

·         Experience using elicitation techniques to understand business requirements

·         In depth understanding and experience of process mapping and re-engineering (as is and to be) using mapping techniques and tools (e.g. Visio)

·         Data modelling

·         Ability to handle and engage a range of stakeholders from IT and the business

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as Microsoft Office skills

·         Ability to cope well under pressure

·         Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and deliverables

·         Self-starter, ability to work within a fast-paced every changing landscape

·         Display an entrepreneurial flair, share new ideas and promote continuous improvement

·         Enthusiastic and proactive, ability to manage own time and workload with minimal supervision
