We are currently recruiting for a Tax & Partnership Accountant to join the firm on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Accountant with proven tax experience to contribute directly to the smooth running of these complex financial processes.

The role covers a wide range of tax matters so you can expect your task list to cover everything from dealing with VAT queries through to preparing personal tax returns and completing corporation tax and partnership computations and returns. With the support of the Head of Tax and Partner Accounting, you will act as the subject matter expert within the finance department. You will be confident in your knowledge and be able to successfully resolve a range of queries both from colleagues internally and from external organisations.

We pride ourselves on our collaborative approach, and this role is no exception. You will lend support to your colleagues in the Payroll team, particularly assisting with tax and benefits calculations. You will also be called upon by the wider finance team to support with your specialist knowledge.

The role will allow you to develop your knowledge further and of particular note is the opportunity to work on Partner accounting. You will act as a main point of contact for Partners and oversee the day to day management of partner profit distributions and calculations profit calculations and capital account movements. As a result of this work, you will develop good working relationships with all Partners and be able to convey complex financial information effectively.

You will be enthusiastic and knowledgeable on tax related matters, keeping a close eye on industry developments and maintaining the firm's related policies. An exceptional eye for detail and accuracy are absolutely essential post holder attributes. You will work well within a team but also be highly motivated to work alone when required.

The ability to respond effectively to changing deadlines and deliver high quality work to tight timescales is also essential. You will be supported by the wider finance team and report to the Head of Tax & Partner Accounting.
