Lexcel accredited practice is seeking an experienced Legal Cashier.

The Role
We are now tasked with sourcing an organised Legal Cashier to join our clients’ thriving practice in Blackburn. Becoming part of a growing accounts department, the successful Legal Cashier will handle all aspects of cashiering duties, in full compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules, to include: bank reconciliations; processing payments and receipts; VAT returns; management of client and office accounts; petty cash; preparing cheques; and; LAA billings.
A hands-on position offering exposure to all aspects of accounts in legal practice, an excellent remuneration package, free parking and private medical health scheme for the right Legal Cashier.

The Candidate
You will be a Legal Cashier with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the legal framework;
Ensure compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules;
Handle your workload under minimum supervision;
You should be proficient in IT and highly technical;
Being personable with clear and concise communication would be highly beneficial.
