Established practice located in Essex seeks an ambitious Legal Cashier, offering a supportive and collaborative working environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and fast-paced practice with a strong teamwork ethos. There will be considerable interaction with fee earners and support staff from around the firm. Therefore, this is the perfect opportunity for any legal cashier to develop and further a career.


- Processing client and office account payments and receipts
- Transferring funds between client and office accounts
- Posting unpaid disbursements and supplier invoices
- Bank reconciliations
- Taking card payments
- Daily banking of funds
- CHAPS and BACS payments
- Providing monthly fee earner reports
- Computer cheque production
- Ledger reconciliations
- Ensuring SRA compliance

The Candidate

- Applications are encouraged from legal cashiers with a minimum of one years’ experience
- Keen eye for detail and professional approach to your work
- Genuine desire to be involved in the future growth plans for the firm
- Enjoy working in a supportive, collegiate atmosphere where talent is recognised and rewarded
- Possess outstanding communication skills
