Business Development Manager position (London) in one of the world’s leading law firms: hands-on  BD position aligned to private equity, capital markets and funds. Up to £70,000

A Business Development Manager is being sought to work in the Corporate practice of this leading international law firm specifically aligned to private equity, funds and capital markets. Working with key stakeholders, the primary objective of this role is to deliver growth in profitable revenue for the practice through the following activities:


  • Developing the business development plan and providing strategic advice to drive growth and progress against the plan;
  • Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders in the London practice;
  • Researching and providing market intelligence to identify for client targeting initiatives;
  • Driving behavioural change and working with partners to develop a more proactive and sophisticated approach to business development;
  • Lead and contribute to the preparing of pitch documents and capability statements;
  • Act as a relationship management for a priority client for the firm and be client facing;
  • Developing profile raising initiatives in conjunction with the Brand and Marketing and Comms teams.


To be considered in the application of this role, you will need to be a business development professional with a drive to succeed and have a high level of personal integrity. Your experience will have taken place in a professional services environment, preferably legal, ideally with exposure to the corporate sector. You will have demonstrable experience in influencing a diverse range of stakeholders, project managing key pitches and pursuing new business opportunities.
