Funds focused Business Development Executive role in a large multinational law firm. London. Competitive Salary.

This is a Business Development Executive role in a large multinational law firm, aligned to the funds team which advises  Alternative Investment Funds on capital raising and deployment. This role will be a full mix across BD and marketing, as well as supporting with client relationships, industry strategy, pursuits, events and ad hoc projects. This role is offering a competitive salary as well as great career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting with BD plans, budgets and strategies for the Funds team
  • Developing new business through pitches, creating proposals, carrying out research and collating information
  • Collaborating with the bids team, Partners and the practice team to create unique pitches for clients
  • Developing marketing materials that are in line with the team strategy
  • Supporting with events such as client dinners, seminars and sponsorship in collaboration with the events team
  • Ad hoc work such as ensuring the database is up to date, managing directories and other marketing and BD initiatives as they arise


  • Ideally at least 2 years’ experience of Business Development
  • Knowledge and experience of funds would be advantageous
  • Professional services or B2B experience
  • Able to manage a busy workload
  • Strong ability of building relationships with senior stakeholders
