12 month Maternity Cover - £45-£50,000 + benefits

Procurement Analyst / IT Department Administrator sought for an international legal services firm to support the management of procurement, contracts, budgets, IT assets, and supplier engagement. A great opportunity to work closely with the management team during a busy period of transformation and growth of the firm.

An international Law Firm with offices in the UK and Asia, with around 1000 staff overall and growing. They pride themselves on the services they offer their clients, and the opportunities they make available to their staff to grow and develop their careers

The Role
As Procurement Analyst / IT Department Administrator you will work closely with the managers across the IT function, as well as Facilities to ensure the overall smooth running of procurement and supplier management and engagement. Responsibilities will include:

* Contract management - reviewing contracts, highlighting key points and storing / tracking contracts within the management tool. Reviewing ongoing performance and delivery against key metrics and highlighting any gaps between contracted deliverables and performance
* Procurement - obtaining quotes for best pricing / service from suppliers and supporting the selection process. Tracking delivery and invoicing as appropriate
* Asset management - ensuring assets are received and distributed appropriately, and that minimum stock levels are maintained
* Budget Administration - Tracking ongoing expenditure against agreed budgets and highlighting any under/over spend
* Supplier management - maintaining effective relationships with all key suppliers
* General administration - Supporting Travel arrangements, diarising departmental and supplier meetings, producing regular reports and reviews.

And You
The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting the procurement and general operations management of an IT function within a corporate business. You'll show great commercial awareness and strong communication skills to successfully manage supplier relationships. CIPS or similar certification in Procurement is desirable.You'll otherwise demonstrate great attention to detail, resourcefulness, organisational skills and the ability to solve problems.
