A marketing role in a law firm will have general duties found in marketing departments across business sectors and industries such as management of marketing campaigns and initiatives, drafting and designing of marketing material, provision of client information and updating relationship documents, as well as organising business trips, (mostly involved in promotion of the law firm) and supporting client meetings.

As usual with all roles in legal marketing, a thorough understanding of CRM databases, marketing analytics and legal information technology is a pre-requisite.
